What is the
FESPA Future Leaders
Program?
The FESPA Future Leaders Program is a professional and personal development program that fosters confident, committed individuals who show leadership skills and who will be next in line to contribute to the future success of Australia’s speciality print community.
Presented by FESPA Australia and our sponsors, FESPA Future Leaders is an annual program offered to applicants with open, creative, inquisitive minds who are currently in their early to mid-career and already demonstrating leadership potential.

How does it work:
Who Is Eligible?
The FESPA Future Leaders Program is open to emerging leaders who are currently working in the speciality printing industry. Future leaders are those individuals who have the ability to make positive changes both personally and professionally.
You, or the company you currently work for must be a member of FESPA Australia. *
Applicants are welcome from a wide range of businesses across our industry including printers, manufacturers and suppliers. FESPA Australia encourages applications from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds as well as people with a disability and people living in regional and remote areas.

We believe that the FESPA Future Leaders Program is a positive step in responding to these challenges and helping to identify and develop leadership talent to ensure our industry survives and thrives into the next generation.

What are the costs?
There is no application fee to register and apply for the Program. However, if you are short-listed and selected to attend the two-day workshop a Course Fee of $250 will apply.
Travel and accommodation costs will need to be covered by the employer / applicant.
What Is The Selection Process?
Applicants will be assessed against our selection criteria. Short-listed applicants will be interviewed by Association or industry representatives. Applicants must demonstrate and include examples of:
- › Relevance of the program to own personal development
- › Show an active and reflective approach toleadership development
- › Describe what a future leader is
- › Include an outline of how they have developed leadership skills so far
- › Be able to present a picture of their future e.g. where do you see yourself in 5 – 10 years
- › Be able to act on anything that’s stopping them achieving this future goal
- › Demonstrated ability to engage in diverse ways of learning
- › Demonstrate ways on how they connect with others
- › Show commitment to improving sustainability of the industry
- › Demonstrated leadership qualities
* Applicants do not need to be members of FESPA Australia to apply, but if you are short listed, you or the company you currently work for will be required to be a paid up Full Member of FESPA Australia Association.
